Ingredients

260 g flour
2 Teaspoons baking powder
0.25 cup brown sugar
1 Teaspoons Afia Cinnamon
0.25 Teaspoons nutmeg
1 piece large egg
1 cup milk
200 g pumpkin puree
40 g Afia Butter (melted and slightly cooled)
1 Teaspoons vanilla extract
2 Tablespoons maple syrup
1 Tablespoons whipping cream

How to prepare

  • For the batter in a bowl whisk flour, baking powder, brown sugar and spices.
  • Then add in the egg, pumpkin puree, milk, vanilla and melted butter. Mix until just combined, do not overmix keep lumpy.
  • in a nonstick pan scoop portions of batter and cook over medium heat until bubbles appear on the top. Then flip and cook for an additional two minutes.
  • to assemble, top with cream, a drizzle of maple syrup, cinnamon and serve.
