400 Gram Chickpeas, Drained And Rinsed
1 Cup Pumpkin Puree
4 Fresh Sage Leaves, Chopped
2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
3 Tablespoons Tahini
2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
2 Tablespoons Afia Extra Virgin Olive Oil + 2 Tsp For Drizzling
1 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
1 Teaspoons Salt
1 Teaspoons Black Pepper
3 Ice Cubes Pumpkin Seeds Sage Leaves

How to prepare

  • In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, pumpkin puree, chopped sage, minced garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, ground cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
  • Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the processor bowl if needed, If the hummus seems too thick, you can add a bit more olive oil or a splash of water, lastly add ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
  • Transfer it to a serving bowl, Drizzle a little extra olive oil over the top of the hummus. Garnish with a few whole sage leaves, paprika and toasted pumpkin seeds.
