Ingredients

for the Katsu:
2 pieces chicken breasts (pounded thin)
0.5 Teaspoons Afia Natural Sea Salt
0.25 Teaspoons Afia Black Pepper Powder
0.5 cup flour
1 piece egg (beaten)
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
200 ml Afia Corn Oil Plus

The Sauce:
0.25 cup ketchup
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 Tablespoons rice vinegar
1 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Teaspoons Dijon mustard

For the Bowl:
2 cups cooked white rice
2 Tablespoons cabbage (thin slices)
1 Tablespoons green onions (slices)
1 Teaspoons sesame seeds
2 pieces fried egg

How to prepare

  • to prepare the chicken, Season with salt and pepper. Coat each piece in flour, then dip in a bowl with beaten egg, then cover with panko breadcrumbs, and sit aside.
  • in a skillet over medium heat. Heat Afia Corn Oil Plus and Fry the chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Transfer to a paper towel–lined plate or wire rack to drain.
  • to make the sauce, In a small pan, mix all sauce ingredeints and Simmer on low for 2–3 minutes until it thickens. Set aside.
  • Slice the crispy chicken into strips. Add cooked rice to bowls, top with the chicken, green onions, drizzle with sauce, and finish with shredded cabbage, eggs and sesame.
