½ cup Afia Red Lentil ¼ cup Burgle 28g short grain Rice 1/2 Tablespoons Butter 1 Tablespoons Tomato paste 1/2 Tablespoons Flour 1/2 Teaspoons red Bell Pepper paste 1 small Onion, chopped 2 Garlic cloves, minced ½ Tablespoons dried Mint 1 Tablespoons Afia pure corn oil 1 Teaspoons Salt ½ Teaspoons Black pepper ½ Teaspoons Afia Turmeric powder ½ Teaspoons Afia Paprika
How to prepare
In a large pot heat oil and cook onions until wilted and cooked, add garlic with rice, lentil and burgle, add salt and mix until well combined for 3 minutes.
Add 1 liter of boiling water and let it cook on medium low heat.
In a separate saucepan, melt butter then add flour and keep mixing to get a creamy texture. Add the tomato sauce and bell pepper paste and mix.
Add 3 tbsp of water just to loosen it up and make creamy paste. season with spices and salt.
Add the tomato sauce to the lentil mix after its cooked, mix and let it simmer for 5 minutes on low medium heat and serve.
