Ingredients

2 Cup Cans Of Cornflakes, Roughly Ground
1 Cup Afia Hard Semolina
1 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Cup Powdered Milk
1 Cup Cream
3 Cup Afia Sunflower Oil
1 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
1 Egg
3 Cup Sugar
240 Gram Qaymer Cream
200 Mili Litre Condensed Milk
170 Mili Litre Evaporated Milk

How to prepare

  • In a bowl add egg, sugar, oil, vanilla, powdered milk and cream can and whisk. Then add cornflakes, baking powder and semolina and mix. Separate the mix into 2 bowls.
  • In the baking dish, spread half of the batter and spread on it the qaymer cream to make semi thin layer of cream. To the remaining batter mix add 2 tbsp of milk to loosen it up a bit.
  • Pour the remaining batter over the cream layer and bake in a preheated oven at 180 c till golden from bottom, then broil it until golden from top.
  • When ready pour over it ¾ of the syrup and preserve the rest for serving .
