Ingredients

compound butter:
125 g Afia Butter (soft)
1 Tablespoons parsley (chopped)
1 Tablespoons chives (chopped)
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 Teaspoons red chili (chopped)
1 Teaspoons lemon zest
0.5 Teaspoons Afia Garlic Powder
0.25 Teaspoons Afia Paprika
0.25 Teaspoons parmesan cheese (finely grated)

corn ribs:
4 pieces corn on the cob (quarters lengthwise)
3 Tablespoons Afia Sunflower Oil
0.5 Teaspoons Afia Sea Salt
0.25 Teaspoons Afia Black Pepper Powder

How to prepare

  • For the butter in a bowl, combine the soft butter with the rest of ingredients and Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed, and Set aside.
  • For the corn, Preheat oven to 200 °C.
  • Arrange corn on a baking tray and drizzle with Afia Sunflower Oil, salt and black pepper. roast for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and slightly charred.
  • While corn ribs are hot, toss them with the prepared compound butter so it melts and coats the corn then serve.
