Ingredients

0.5 cup flour
1 Teaspoons baking powder
1 Teaspoons Afia Cinnamon Powder
0.25 Teaspoons Afia Natural Sea Salt
0.5 cup banana (mashed)
0.3 cup maple syrup
0.25 cup Afia Corn Oil
1 piece large egg
1 Teaspoons vanilla extract
1.25 cups rolled oats
0.5 cup raisins
2 Tablespoons Afia Walnut Jumbo (chopped)
2 Tablespoons chocolate sauce

How to prepare

  • Preheat oven to 175°C and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix  flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together mashed banana, maple syrup, Afia Corn Oil , egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir just until combined. Fold in oats, raisins, and walnuts. The dough will be slightly wet.
  • using ice cream scoop, Scoop 1.5 tbsp portions and place on baking sheets, leaving space between each.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are lightly browned. Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack, drizzle with chocolate and serve.
