Ingredients

2 Tablespoons Afia Sunflower Oil
1 Gram Large Onions, Chopped
500 Gram Minced Beef
1 Teaspoons Salt
1 Teaspoons Black Pepper
1 Teaspoons Cumin
2 Teaspoons Mixed Spice
1 Teaspoons Cinnamon
2 Tablespoons Afia Walnuts, Crushed
2 Tablespoons Afia Pine Nuts
1 Gram Qatayef Large Size
1 Tablespoons Afia Sunflower Oil For Greasing Qatayef

How to prepare

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the onions over low to medium heat until they soften.
  • Add the meat and cook it over medium heat.
  • Add the spices and continue cooking until the meat is fully cooked.
  • Add the nuts, mix them with the meat, and cook for 5 minutes. remove it from heat.
  • Stuff the qatayef with a teaspoon of meat filling, close it and brush it with oil on all sides.
  • bake it in an oven at 200c until it browns on both sides.
  • serve it with minted yoghurt sauce or with pomegranate molasses.
